To answer a few questions about the app...
What does it do?
Once installed, the app allows you to recieve instant push notifications about DVSA activity and roadside operations.
Why do I need to register with an email address?
Users are required to register to enable the push notifications. An email address is required to register for password recovery. (You could register with a fictitious email but you would not be able to recover your password...) WE DO NOT PASS YOUR DETAILS TO ANY THIRD PARTIES.
What is the difference between the paid and free versions?
The paid version is advert free. The free version will display adverts from Google AdSense.
I have installed and registered the app but it doesn't appear to do anything..?
Once installed, the free version will allow you to recieve and view the notifications. Push messages will be delivered to your device as they are sent out.
The paid adfree version will need a valid subscription to be paid before you will be able to recieve and view the notifications.
When are the notifications sent out?
The notifications are sent out as soon as we recieve the information.
Users can update us from within the app or via the Spotted:VOSA Facebook page.
